Installation Steps
*Before You Begin:
-This kit does not increase the vehicle’s load capacity.
-Don’t exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
-Drilling may be required, and professional installation is recommended.
1. Prepare Your Jeep
Lift the rear of the vehicle and secure it using jack stands. Lower the axle or raise the body until the coil springs are fully extended.
2. Insert the Spring Bags
Remove the plastic cover from the air fitting on the spring bag and roll it flat to release air. Insert it into the coil spring with the air fitting facing upward. Once inside, remove the plug to let it expand into its original shape.
3. Fit the Rubber Blocks
Push the spring bag to the bottom of the coil spring and install the appropriate rubber block(s) on top.
4. Heat Shield (Driver’s Side Only)
Install the included heat shield on the driver’s side, positioning it near the exhaust. Bend the tabs to create a ½” air gap between the shield and the exhaust pipe.
5. Route the Air Lines
Cut the air line evenly and secure it with clamps. Route through the spring seat and rubber blocks, then connect to the air fittings on the bags. Secure the lines with zip ties and thermal sleeves near heat sources.
6. Choose Your Air Line Configuration
-Single Line: For balanced loads.
-Dual Line: For uneven loads that require independent pressure adjustment.
Use pliers to clamp the lines securely onto the fittings.
Final Tips
- Re-check all connections before lowering the vehicle.
- Use the inflation valves to adjust the pressure to your desired comfort and load support.
- Always follow local regulations when modifying your vehicle.
