The MaXpeedingRods full assembly coilovers are the best bang for your buck out there! They are built well, ride great and come with everything you’ll need for an easy install. They’ve been on the car for over a month now and have seen well over 1,000 miles. The ride quality is great on city streets, highways, and mountain roads! Here’s a recap of how the experience has been so far.

The coilovers arrived fast and were packaged well. They look good and feel solid, with most of the components being made from T6061 aluminum. Even though they offer the coilovers in blue, gold & grey, the red is a perfect match for the CRX.

The brake line brackets are not fixed to the front coilovers, which is helpful during installation and when adjusting the ride height. The adjustability of the bracket also ensures the placement can be perfect so that the brake lines stay in their OEM location. Adjusting the ride height is easy. I left the springs in their preloaded position, but the front is lowered all the way and the rear is brought down to match.

Adjusting the dampers is also very simple and with 24 settings ranging from soft to hard, it allows you to fine-tune everything. The twin-tube shock design and high tensile performance springs provide a smooth ride. The front springs are 8k and the rears are 5k, which is perfect for daily driving while also being able to perform during spirited mountain runs.
